Vauxhall Zafira For Sale - Used Vauxhall Zafira
The Vauxhall Zafira's clever interior, with its foldaway seats, was a trendsetter when it first appeared and has since been copied by many rivals. Even so, the Vauxhall remains an ingenious and practical car. There's a wide range of engines, and even the smallest of them performs well. Best of all, keen prices make the Zafira a bargain.

Review
For:Roomy, refined, good cabin quality
Against:Some models are a little sluggish
Autoquake.com verdict: star
Why buy one?
The first-generation Zafira was a revolutionary leap forward with its clever foldaway seats. The second-generation took the neat ideas of the original and refined them, making this one of the most practical and flexible MPVs you can buy.
It drives well, too, with a strong grip and a firm but comfortable ride. Even the smallest petrol engines perform well. The diesels are better still if you regularly travel fully loaded, while the high-performance VXR is more than quick enough to scare the whole family witless.
Why think twice?
The cheapest versions aren't very well equipped, and some rivals such as the C4 Picasso have overtaken the Zafira when it comes to clever interior features.
How safe?
All models have a respectable list of safety kit. Crash test experts Euro NCAP gave the car a five-star rating back in 2005.
What might go wrong?
Some owners report niggling faults with lose interior trim and other minor problems. However, serious faults are rare with a second-hand Vauxhall Zafira.
What do the experts say?
'The Zafira is fun to drive and cheap to run, but some rivals are more versatile.' What Car?
