Toyota Aygo For Sale
With a used Toyota Aygo, there's no need to worry about reliability. It was the highest rated city car in the 2009 JD Power Customer Satisfaction Survey. The boot is small and the back seats are cramped, but the Toyota Aygo is a fun-looking car with rock-bottom running costs.

Toyota Aygo Review
For: Cheap to run, reliable, attractive styling.
Against: Small boot, not the cheapest city car to buy.
Autoquake.com verdict: star
Why buy one?
Because a used Toyota Aygo costs buttons to run and hardly ever goes wrong. The Aygo was the top city car in the 2009 JD Power Satisfaction Survey, and with good reason.
The Aygo may be super-sensible, but it isn't dull. The little Toyota looks good, inside and out, and there's a sense of fun to the car which few rivals match.
Why think twice?
Boot space isn't a strong point, and if you want five doors you'll need to shop for a different car such as a Kia Picanto. A second-hand Aygo isn't the quickest or quietest car on the motorway. Strong resale values mean the Aygo won't be as cheap to buy as some rivals.
How safe?
A used Aygo should look after you should the worst happen. Although it hasn't been crash tested by safety experts Euro NCAP, the near-identical Citroen C1 has. It scored four out of five for adult occupant protection in 2005.
What might go wrong?
Not a lot. As we've mentioned, the Aygo finished top of its class in the 2009 JD Power survey. Worries about sticking accelerators can be put out of your mind. Any car which appears on this website will have had the necessary corrective work.
