Ex–fleet action hots up

It's getting easier for private buyers to snap up an ex–fleet bargain.

Leading online used car retailer AutoQuake have launched a new outlet in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, where fleet cars aged between three and six months old are sold direct to the public.

The cars have a manufacturer warranty, full service history and have had an HPI check and mechanical inspection. Customers can view the cars online at www.autoquake.com.

Meanwhile the car leasing arm of Lombard are using auction house BCA to offload their ex–fleet cars. Ata recent auction in Leicester, they sold 397 vehicles. There was a wide range of used and nearly–new cars, with top price bagged by a 2004/54–reg Lamborghini Gallardo. The Italian beauty sold for #163;90,000.
